Andreahna Thornton

President & Board Director

Andreahna Thornton is a dynamic entrepreneur and community leader, proudly serving as the President and Board Director. She is the founder of one of Delaware’s most beloved event service providers — Sister 2 Sister Party Rentals — known for bringing unforgettable celebrations to life.


A true multi-hyphenate, Andreahna also offers services as a Virtual Assistant, Notary Public, Fashion Designer and Mobile Boutique Owner, Content Creator for organizations, Commercial Tax Consultant, and is a passionate Fitness Enthusiast.


She is also one of the driving forces behind SHE Enterprises, a growing network of businesses that includes a courier service, a professional cleaning service, and more — all rooted in serving and uplifting the community.

Beyond business, Andreahna has a deep love for the outdoors. Whether she’s camping, hiking, biking, running, rafting, or relaxing at the beach, she thrives on adventurous experiences that keep her connected to nature and wellness.


Her mission is simple yet powerful: to help build and support her community in every way possible — through business, service, leadership, and passion for life.

Luvenia Ervin

Director of Mental Wealth & Recovery


Luvenia Ervin is a dedicated mental health and substance abuse professional with a heart for community healing and transformation. With years of experience supporting individuals through some of life’s most challenging seasons, she brings compassion, wisdom, and deep-rooted purpose to her role as Director of Mental Wealth & Recovery for Black Girls Love Outdoors Too.

A nature-loving enthusiast who puts God first in all she does, Luvenia found peace, renewal, and strength in the outdoors — and now she’s on a mission to help other women, especially Black women, discover the same. She believes that healing is not just found in therapy rooms, but also on trails, near rivers, and under open skies.

Luvenia combines her professional expertise with her personal journey to create safe, empowering spaces for women to heal, reconnect, and thrive — mind, body, and spirit.

Karen Miller

Director of Community Engagement

Meet Karen Miller — Our New Director of Community Engagement!


We are thrilled to welcome Karen Miller as the new Director of Community Engagement for Black Girls Love Outdoors Too!


Karen brings a heart for service and a lifetime of experience working with the public. She recently retired from the Department of Labor, where she dedicated many years to supporting and advocating for people across our communities. Her passion for connection, encouragement, and building authentic relationships makes her a perfect fit for this role.


Whether she’s welcoming new members, helping coordinate events, or simply showing up with her warm spirit — Karen is already making an impact!


Let’s give Karen a big, outdoor-loving welcome as she helps lead our mission to create safe, joyful, and inclusive spaces for Black women and girls in nature. 

Crystal Baynard-Norman

Community Relations Liaison & Brand Ambassador

Crystal has long been a beacon in our community — a multi-talented creative force who inspires everyone she meets. She is the author of several impactful books, a celebrated poet, a popular artist, and a gifted fashion and graphic designer. And if you’ve ever seen her out and about, chances are she’s wearing one of her own stunning designs!


Crystal brings passion, authenticity, and deep community roots to our mission. Her presence lights up any space she enters, and we are beyond excited to have her officially on the team.


We are so grateful to have Crystal as part of our movement to uplift, empower, and connect Black women through the outdoors.

Christiana Bobo

Community Relations Liaison & Sisterhood Circle Facilitator

Chrissy is known for her bright, bubbly personality and her beautiful spirit that shines in every space she enters. A talented crocheter, she creates stunning handmade pieces — be sure to check out her work on Instagram.


Beyond her creative gifts, Chrissy is also well known in the New Jersey community for her passion for homeschool education and for empowering others with the knowledge and confidence to explore alternative paths in learning.


We’re so excited to have her on the team and can’t wait to share what’s coming next — especially our Outdoor Crochet Class and more.
